It was 10.30am so there was only 2 other people there, 2 young's guys from Quebec and we had a great time chatting as they were very interested in travelling to NZ. The pools are so neat as the temperature was just right and you feel like you are nearly in this river which is quite fast flowing.
We stopped for lunch just out of Invermere at this rest stop which has amazing views over the Columbia River.
Again this area feels like you are driving along in a huge wide valley with mountains either side, one side is the Rocky Mountains and the other the Purcell Mountains.

We decided to stay in a RV park as it had a laundry and wifi and was a short drive to the hot springs. It was beautifully kept and I was able to spend time catching up on the blog.
As it was warm and sunny we enjoyed a bottle of Canadian Rose before heading off for a swim. We have really enjoyed the Rose wine hear, the chardonanys are good if you pay the extra.

Wow, I managed to get 2 swims in hot pools today!!! They are along the side of high rock cliffs which makes them interesting and even though it was Saturday night it was not very crowded. The water was actually a bit too hot so we did not sit it them too long. We did decide that a meal out was needed as we were near places, usually we have no easy way of getting to a restaurant as well camp in out of way places.
I had seen a very busy place which did ribs and steaks so we headed there. It was very busy which was great, I had naughty yummy ribs which chips and Lloyd had a steak. They served it with these smokey saucy beans, we both felt rather full after!!
One thing that we have not got used to is how late it is before it gets dark. When we first arrived it was 9pm but now we are further north and its a month later it was 10.20pm before darkness fell.
This seems to make us go to bed late.

What a great few days. The photos look amazing - love the one of the reflection on the lake. Glad you're getting lots of hot pool time in.
