Icefield Parkway Cont'd

The Bow Summit of course the Bow lake below us was still frozen

After leaving the summit which was fantastic we travelled fairly slowly as the snow was coming down. After seeing the bear all sightseeing had to be postponed due to weather conditions.

The bear was on the roadside, he did not have white spots either!!!

This was the view from our carpark campsite. It is the Athabasca Glacier part of the Columbia Icefield. You can take trips up on to the glacier.
