Vancouver is very multi cultural with hundreds of ethnic eating options. You wonder how they all survive and then you realise how many people are out and about. The high rise apartment buildings are especially abundant in the area where we are staying and after work there are masses of people out running and walking around the seawall. We came across a group of guys playing street hockey right across the road from our apartment, they varied in ages an d mostly had no protective gear on.They were still playing at 9pm as it got dark.
We woke early again before 7am to a lovely sunny day and left to get the bus to MOA. www.moa.ubc.ca/ It is very easy to get around on public transport. The museum is in the university campus and a is very impressive.
We spent about 3 hrs there and I loved the fact it was a mixture of old and new.
