We left Reegan and Gerrys after a good chat recommendations of where to visit next. We decided to stop in the nearby town of Duncan as Reegan had told me about a Farmers market. The town is lovely and the market was interesting with a good variety of food and goods. I had a local roasted coffee which was the best coffee I've had so far in CanadaThe town is known for its decorated totem poles and a couple look very similar to Maori designs.
We left there and drove through to Port Renfrew. This road goes through the centre of the island which is logging country and past Lake Cowchin.
We had intend to stay at Port Renfew but after looking around continued on and found a delightful campsite on the beach at Jordan River.
As it was a Sat night there were a lot of families. The BBQ came out again and another gourmet diinner was produced
