The Arrival !

THE FIRST DAY

We arrived in Vancouver mid afternoon. It had been a very long 14 hr flight but no complaints really as we arrived safely. The processing was not too bad and we were able to easily work out how to get the train into downtown Vancouver where we then had to get a bus to the apartment. This photo was taken walking to the bus stop in light rain, we didn't mind at all we were finally here and on holiday.
Natashas mother the Airbnb lady met us at the apartment and we were delighted with the location and actual place itself.

After getting organised we walked down the road for dinner which ended up at a pub, the rain had stopped but it was very chilly, probably about 8 deg.The attraction was 2 things,the menu of beef and Guinness pie and also large screens were playing the ice hockey game of Stanley Cup. We enjoyed both very much and then proceeded home to bed early pretty exhausted about 8 pm. Our first day had been exciting and we were now feeling that the reality was actually happening, our year had began!!!!!
