The morning was grey looking and after a chat we laft for the ferry to Vancouver Island.
We decided to go to Nanaimo and had to wait until 1pm and with a 2 hour crossing time it was after 3pm when we arrived on the Island.
It was raining so we decided to stock the van up on the extras we needed and found a Salies Thift Store. We purchased a few kitchen items and a umbrella. The asked us if we were over 55yrs as it was discount day so we got a further 50% off the goods.
We wanted to but a barbaque and Paul had said to go Canadian Tires. We had seen them but thought it only sold tyres, silly us they sell everything.

We had a great time looking around a got a small charcoal bbq for only$20.

We then headed for our next boon dockers location and arrived early evening to Regan and Gerrys property which was just charming. then have 6 acres among the cedar trees and were so friendly. We spent the evening chatting with them as Gerry had finished watching the hockey on TV, Of course hokey is just winding up here so all the play off games are on.
