We left the museum and caught the bus to Granville island which were old commercial buildings year sago. They now house a market similar to the Melbourne Queen Vic markets but also there are other shops and seafood restaurants . We loved the huge selection of different varieties of salmon and bought some for dinner along with fresh asparagus.
We had a wonderful lunch of clam chowder, cod fries and salad, Lloyd had the calamari which he enjoyed.
The day was warm and we enjoyed a drink before catching the small ferry back to the jetty outside our apartment.
