More of Albany

We were very happy tucked in our great spot at Cosy Corner so decided to stay on another few days.
We had also discovered an amazing cafe, I often use Trip Advisor to check places out and we went to this French cafe Gourmandise & Co first for a coffee. We returned several times during our stay and they were always so friendly, Xavier the owner talks to most customers and he really cooks from the heart. They have a wood fired oven and his croissants were fantastic. We loved the long shared table too which tends to make for great conversation with strangers.
On our last visit we have the duck confit casserole with white beans and it was devine.
Our favourite cafe

The Brig Amity Replica is on the foreshore along with the old Goal
The  customs building in Albany is one of many heritage buildings restore

We drove out to Emu Point where the water was so clear and a beautiful colour
